If you have previous programming experience this is a guarantee good buy. Being already use to programming language helps you pick this up very quickly. There are somethings that are different as far as formatting goes, but a lot of the concepts are the same as far as an introductory programming course goes. If you have never taken an introductory programming course for C++ , java, etc. then this might be a little rough picking up. You get the most out of this with previous experience because you do not have to read this cover to cover to get how to program. Just look at the index in the back for keywords your looking for and you can quickly get a hold of what you are trying to do.
